It is so deliciously tempting not to want to eat all this colorful and flavorful miniature marvels, all at once before even trying to make the orange berry fruit punch. My hubby always caught me with my hands in the “fruit” or should I say with the fruits in my “mouth”. Oops! Sorry, love! I can’t content myself!
We love making freshly squeezed orange juice out from navel or valencia oranges. They are sweet, very juicy and rich in flavour.
Store-bought orange juice is laden with very-bad-for-your-health artificial flavours and refined sugar, instead squeezed homemade orange juice made from fresh oranges has an abundance of good-for-your-health essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber. They are well known for its high content of vitamin C. Definitely an incredible refined sugar-free way to start your day and re-hydrate your body after long hours of sleep.
Alongside oranges, berries are a powerful SUPERFOOD too! Oh yeah! They are my true real candies! A treat I take with me on movie nights out specially when they are in season. Rich in antioxidants they will help you age beautifully and gracefully! Yey!
So together orange juice and berries make a supremely nutritious and refreshing feel-great fruit berry punch cocktail drink! To quench your thirst and reboot your health specially on hot summer days!

- For a more chilled drink substitute fresh berries for frozen berries instead and omit the ice as described above.
- For a more liquid less dense consistency run the mixture through a sieve to make it less pulpy and take out any left pits or seeds left after the blending process. Add 1/4 cup of water at a time until desired consistency achieved. Taste and adjust flavours to your taste.
- If you use cherries, pit them like you would pit a stone fruit. I use this technique!
